This book is so much fun! I love the family in it, and the illustrations are not only simple but interesting too. Definitely child-friendly!
My kids absolutely LOVE this book. They love Sugar, and they want to be just like the little girls in the story. They spend a lot of time with their teacup pig, and it makes me so happy to see them grow up with such a sweet little pet.
It's great for teaching kids about responsibility and caring for animals. It helps teach them that even if you have a small animal like a pig or a hamster, you still need to take care of it.
This book is so cute, and my kids just love it! The pictures are beautiful, and the story is just so sweet. My girls always want me to read it to them at bedtime, and I'm more than happy to oblige. This is definitely one of our favorites!
This is a great book for kids. It's fun, it's pink, and it has a pig in it. What's not to love? The girls in the book are also really sweet and charming. This is definitely a book that will make your kids smile.
We bought this book for our son, and he loves it! The story is engaging, and the illustrations are lovely. He always wants us to read it to him before bed.
This book is a great way to introduce your kids to the responsibility of caring for a pet. It has a great message about how important it is to take care of the animals you love, whether they are big or small. The illustrations are colorful and engaging and will keep your kids entertained while they learn!
My kids love the adventure of little teacup pigs. Such a short story, but it is worth reading!
Must read! This book is so amazingly written. I really love the visuals and the message this book carries. We had a little reading session in our school and I must say the kids loved it! They were so excited to hear sugar’s story. It is engaging and perfect for a little audience. Well done!

I am a mother of triplets and sugar is their favourite character. Their emotions evolved with Sugar and they couldn’t stop asking me questions about her and how she felt and what she was going through. I think the writer has done an incredible job in bringing and explaining this sensitive issue to her young audience. Through colourful visuals and easy-to-read language, it explains the feeling of leaving your family and going to another one. I would highly recommend this book.

Great read! I must say, anyone to whom I have recommended this book comes back to thank me. Their children love it! The main character is so adorable with her fear of moving away and coping with a new environment with a new family. It is scary. I know. This book teaches the kids to remain calm and welcoming to change. We should give others a chance. How else we would find love and affection in a new place. Sugar makes new friends as well in the end. It is scary at the start, but it works out. Good message.

I find this book a little close to my heart, I was an orphan and a wonderful family took me in. It reminded me of that experience, how I was scared and shy. My family gave me space and waited patiently for me to open up. I think the entire experience is wonderfully captured and expressed through words and colorful illustrations. I read it almost every night to my niece. She loves this book. Parents should definitely buy it.

My friend recommended me this book for my son. He loves pigs. I find the message of the book quite wonderful and emotional. My son is quite a sensitive boy and he was immediately attached to Sugar. He felt really bad for her and was ecstatic when she met a new loving family. He couldn’t stop drawing her in his notebook. Well done, do read it!

This is my and my son’s favourite book. We have this habit of sitting down before bed to read Sugar’s story. My son, who is five, is quite a curious champ. He loves to talk about her and then, in his school, loves to tell his friends about Sugar. He even took this book for his weekly reader club session. I like the emotional underlayer of this storybook. It holds a purpose and lesson; I always try to find books that teach something to my kids. Something that helps them in life. Great read, recommended!

Love the message, the characters, the visuals, and the colorful illustrations. Perfect for grabbing the young ones’ attention. I would recommend this to people who want an exciting read with a good message inherited in the book. It deals with pain, separation, opening up, and trust. I know it is hard when a child goes through this experience. I would like to thank the author for bringing into words this emotional experience. Now, kids can relate and learn how to move forward with this feeling and situation. Recommended.
